Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III delivers the fast, explosive gunplay the series is known for, but this sequel doesn’t always hit the target. Jump into a globe-spanning military campaign, battle players across classic multiplayer maps, or team up to survive the massive open-world Zombies mode. The shooting feels smooth, movement is quick, and weapon customization gives you plenty to experiment with. Unfortunately, the short campaign, recycled content, and lack of fresh ideas hold it back. Modern Warfare III can still be fun with friends, especially online, but it feels more like an expansion than a truly new Call of Duty.
