Dark Souls

Dark Souls is a masterclass in hostile, uncompromising game design that refuses to hold your hand. Set in the decaying, interconnected world of Lordran, you play as a cursed Undead tasked with navigating a landscape filled with grotesque monsters and gargantuan bosses. It is a game defined by its atmosphere of profound isolation and the thrill of discovery. There are no quest markers or tutorials here; you learn through trial, error, and observation. By rejecting modern hand-holding, it turns every small victory into a genuine, hard-earned triumph that feels earned rather than given.
