Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse

Set in a ruined, demon-infested Tokyo, this RPG drops you into the shoes of Nanashi, a young hunter who meets a messy end early on. Resurrected by the enigmatic deity Dagda, you are forced into a pact to become his personal 'Godslayer' amidst a cosmic power struggle. It is a brutal, refined take on the series' classic Press Turn combat, where exploiting elemental weaknesses is the only way to survive. While it shares DNA with its predecessor, it offers a more character-driven narrative that pits you against divine forces in a high-stakes war for the fate of humanity.
