The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog

Forget everything you know about high-speed platforming. This bizarre, free-to-play visual novel drops you onto the Mirage Express for Amy Rose’s birthday, only for the party to go sideways when the blue blur himself turns up dead. As a new train employee, you’re tasked with interrogating the series' iconic cast to uncover the truth behind this supposed murder. It’s a point-and-click mystery that trades rings for dialogue trees and frantic mini-games, proving that even a joke project can have more personality and polish than most full-priced titles. It’s weird, it’s self-aware, and it’s surprisingly essential for any Sonic fan.
